Charlie trained at the Arts Educational Schools London, National Youth Theatre, Stage2 Youth Theatre and at the University of Birmingham.
Charlie’s experience includes classical and contemporary theatre, devising, sketch comedy, musical theatre, role play, TV and film. Her skills include comedy, improv, stage combat, multi-rolling, singing, musicianship, musical directing, role playing and having an elastic face.
She has worked as an actor, director, actor-musician, accompanist, organist, rehearsal pianist, tutor, facilitator, teacher, musical director, mime artist, workshop leader, medical role player, ESL teacher, phonics teacher, and waitress.
Projects include: ‘Hold on to Your Butts’ (UK Tour/West End), ‘Laughing Boy’ (Jermyn Street Theatre/Theatre Royal Bath), ‘Miss Popplewell’s Garden’ (The Rude Mechanicals) ‘Mrs Warren’s Profession’ (Theatre Royal Bath), ‘The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman’ (Netflix/Raw TV), Dr Watson in ‘Sherlock Holmes: An Online Adventure’ (Les Enfants Terribles), two international tours (Hong Kong/Singapore) of ‘Tabby McTat’, the award-winning ‘The Internet Was Made For Adults’ at VAULT Festival, the world premiere of Jodi Gray’s ‘Like I Care’, ‘ENSEMBLE’ - a five-week residency at the Lyric Hammersmith with an all-female ensemble company, ‘Requiem For Ground Zero’ in Torre del Lago Puccini Italy, creating and performing the live band soundtrack for the world premiere of Claire Dowie’s ‘Hard Working Families’ and coming runner up in the one-minute round at Monologue Slam UK (Birmingham REP).
